Local Supplier Spotlight:

7 Questions with Quality Crust Bakehouse

At St Peters Garden Centre, we love supporting local as much as we can. In Blake’s Farm Shop, we carefully select the products that we stock, and they come from the very best producers in Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

It’s our local suppliers that not only give us the very best quality products but also great stories to tell.

We sat down with local business Quality Crust Bakehouse, creators of our yummy fresh bread to discuss their business, the products they sell, why they’re a great fit for St Peters Garden Centre and much more!

1. Who are you, and what do you do?

We are Quality Crust Bakehouse. We bake and supply fresh bread, rolls, and cakes to wholesale businesses and we also have our own shop.

2. Where is your business located?

We are based in Droitwich Spa.

3. What kind of things do you sell?

We sell freshly baked bread, rolls, and cakes. We also do hot and cold food, pork baps, savoury slices, bacon, and sausage (all breakfast items), and all the good stuff!

4. Do you have any fun facts/good stories about your business?

We are a small family business that started trading in Droitwich 34 years ago. The business has been passed down from father to daughter and son-in-law, and still going strong.

5. When did you start working with St Peters Garden Centre?

Our records show we started working together in 2001 (but Phil can’t believe where the years have gone saying he’s not old enough to have been delivering for that many years!)

6. What makes your product a good fit for St Peters Garden Centre?

We are a small, local based shop and we love being in places that support independent businesses. We love working together to promote each other’s companies.
