Join us on May 3rd for part four in our Grow Your Own! series. This ones all about Strawberries & Sweetcorn & more!

With a multitude of tasks to tackle this month, we'll identify the key jobs that need your attention this month. It’s the ideal time to sow and grow tender crops directly in your garden, including sweetcorn, strawberries, beans, and a variety of herbs. We'll provide practical tips on how to successfully plant these crops while ensuring they thrive as well as touch on pest control and crop protection.

Embark on a horticultural journey with our Grow Your Own! series. Learn expert tips and insights, all showcased in our very own "Grow Your Own" bed on our allotment, running from early February to June, you'll be able to revisit each month for new relevant tasks and plants to focus on, and to see the progress the bed has made since the last talk!

These talks are once again hosted in our Yurt by passionate garden enthusiast, Sam (@happy_place_gardener). Each talk is scheduled in for one hour with a Q&A at the end, however, please note that our talks with Sam last year regularly ran over with all of your questions!
