Local Supplier Spotlight:

7 Questions with Two Farmers

At St Peters Garden Centre, we love supporting local as much as we can. In Blake’s Farm Shop, we carefully select the products that we stock, and they come from the very best producers in Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

It’s our local suppliers that not only give us the very best quality products but also great stories to tell.

We sat down with award-winning business Two Farmers, creators of delicious hand-cooked crisps to discuss their business, the products they sell, why they’re a great fit for St Peters Garden Centre, and much more!

  1. Who are you, and what do you do?

We are Sean Mason and Mark Green, founders of the award-winning Two Farmers Ltd, who passionately produce delicious hand-cooked crisps in plastic-free, compostable packaging.

  1. Where is your business located?

A village called Peterstow, just outside Ross-on-Wye in the beautiful county of Herefordshire.

  1. What kind of things do you sell?

Amazing hand-cooked crisps using the highest quality, local ingredients. Only the finest potatoes make their way into our crisp packets.

  1. Do you have any fun facts/good stories about your business?

Our crisp story started in a local pub, with a local pint and with a vision to make delicious crisps and protect our wonderful environment. Sean and Mark met one night for a pint of local beer and a packet of crisps, and the rest is history!

The potatoes we use are all graded on our farm which keeps our road miles low, and our crisps are even sealed in plastic-free packets!

  1. When did you start working with St Peters Garden Centre?

We started working with St Peters Garden Centre back in early 2019. We’re really proud to celebrate one of our first customers.

  1. What makes your product a good fit for St Peters Garden Centre?

Our crisp packets are plastic free which fits with the ongoing ethos of St Peters Garden Centre.

  1. Why do you like working with St Peters Garden Centre?

They’re striving to reduce their carbon footprint; they are fully committed to reducing all waste and each department champions local produce, which is fantastic.
