Light Trail FAQs

What age is the Light Trail & Santa Experience aimed at?

We have aimed the experience and gift bag at children up to the age of 10 but older children are welcome.

How many adults can attend per child booked?

We have a limit of 2 adults per child attending the Light Trail this year, this has changed from last year to reduce numbers and maximize the experience of the trail and Santa meeting for your little one.

Do I need to book for a baby?

Babies under 12 months of age do not need a ticket unless they would like a gift from Santa in which case they will need to be booked as per other children. Children under 12 months old and accompanying older siblings are admitted free of charge but do not receive a gift as part of the experience. If you wish them to receive a gift, the full admission price applies.

Where is the Light Trail?

Our Light Trail takes place outdoors around our nature reserve and follows our lake. So please wrap up warm! The group Santa meeting takes place by the fire in our Yurt.

What present will my child receive from Santa?

All children will receive a very special 'Blake' the Teddy Bear as a present from Santa. This will be gifted unwrapped with a personalised name tag.

Is the Light Trail appropriate for children with additional needs?

At peak times the Light Trail can become very busy and potentially overwhelming for some. That's why we're running our Quiet Night Light Trail & Santa Experience on Thursday 7th of December, which has been adapted to be more sensory-friendly.
