G.Y.O February - Prep your garden for 2025!

Join us on February 1st for our first session of our brand new Grow Your Own! series.

This month we'll be focusing on Getting your Garden Prepped for the 2025 Growing Season! We'll delve into essential topics such as the must-have gardening kit, the ins and outs of windowsill propagation, and the benefits of using a cold frame. Learn practical tips for managing watering and low light levels during winter, along with invaluable advice on plant and seedling care. Additionally, get hands-on experience as we sow chillies, peppers, onion seeds, and microgreens - plus, don’t miss your last chance to plant garlic!

Our Grow Your Own! series will help you learn expert tips and insights, all showcased in our very own "Grow Your Own" bed on our allotment, running from early February to June, you'll be able to revisit each month for new relevant tasks and plants to focus on, and to see the progress the bed has made since the last talk!

These talks are once again hosted in our Yurt by passionate garden enthusiast, Sam (@happy_place_gardener). Each talk is scheduled in for one hour with a Q&A at the end, however, please note that our talks with Sam last year regularly ran over with all of your questions!
