We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Poppy’s Farm & Retreat Supervisor
An opportunity has arisen to join our exciting new project, Poppy’s Farm! We will be opening our new venture in the next few months and are looking for a passionate person to help us make this a success! Poppy’s Farm will include pigs, goats and chickens, all that will require daily care and love. The already open Retreat offers food and refreshments, all which are homemade using locally sourced produce.
This is a full time, permanent position working on a 6/4 rota (4 weekdays plus alternate weekends).
The Role:
• Full time position averaging 42 hours per week over a 2 week rota, to include alternate weekends.
• Working hours – 9am to 6pm and 9am to 5pm Sunday.
• Salary £17k-£20k experience and hour’s dependant.
• To be trained to Supervisor level and will be required to work extra hours to cover holidays & sickness. This will involve some weekend working.
• 28 Days holiday annum pro rata (inclusive of bank holidays, which are normal working days).
• Training will be provided for the role.
• Start date – as soon as possible.
• Free Parking and Uniform will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that every customer has a great experience.
• The health and safety of yourself, customers, members of staff and animals.
• Assisting and ensuring an enjoyable visit for all customers.
• The daily care and welfare of the animals.
• Maintaining the high hygiene standards.
• Ensuring and promoting handwashing during customer’s visits to Poppy’s Farm.
• Serving food and refreshments from The Retreat.
• Ensuring all food waste is managed and recorded.
• Ordering stock via suppliers when needed.
• Will be a Key Holder
• Helping to deliver agreed gross profit within The Retreat
• Supervising and leading the team to ensure they give the same great service.
• Handing cash and till reconciliation.

We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Full Time Chef de Partie.
An opportunity has arisen to join our kitchen Brigade.
This is a full time, permanent position working on a 6/4 rota (4 weekdays plus alternate weekends).
Salary based on experience.
The Role:
• Full time position averaging 42 hours per week over a 2-week rota, to include alternate weekends.
• Working hours – 8am to 4pm and 8am to 4pm Sunday.
• May be required to work extra hours to cover holidays & sickness. This will involve some weekend working.
• 28 Days holiday per annum pro rata (inclusive of bank holidays, which are normal working days).
• Training will be provided for the role.
• Start date – as soon as possible.
• Yearly refresher of FSA Level 2 certification, Free Parking, and Uniform will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:

• Be competent in working across all sections within the kitchen including prep and order lists and closedown.
• Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are always the highest quality for the section you are working on in line with current Food Safety/Hygiene legislation.
• Ensure and control levels of guest satisfaction, quality and operations within set food costs on an on-going basis.
• Support other chefs during prep and service in their sections, you will fully understand how the role contributes to the success of the restaurant. Build effective and constructive relationships, communicate clearly, professionally and concisely. Maintain a good level of understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industry.
