Our Ciders
The Knight Family
The Knight Family have been growing and pressing cider apples at Crumpton Oaks, nestling in the foothills of the Malverns, for three generations. The combination of traditional fruit and careful blending, together with modern equipment and hygiene, enables them to create consistent quality refreshing ciders, and as such is the reason we have selected them as one of our cider suppliers.
Malvern Gold Medium Reserve
Malvern Gold Medium Reserve is a full bodied Real Cider rich in tannins and flavenoids which create its natural flavour and golden colour. Made from home grown, fresh apples, they press, ferment and mature prior to filtration and bottling. It takes at least two and a half pounds of apples to produce every bottle of cider.
Malvern Oak Dry Reserve
Malvern Oak Dry Reserve is a refreshing, balanced cider made from a variety of traditional cider apples, including Yarlington Mill, Harry MasterÕs Jersey, Dabinett and Kingston Black.
Dunkertons
We are also supplied by Dunkertons who have made organic cider and perry to Soil Association standards since 1988. They were the first in Herefordshire. Using a traditional press and mill, circa 1930, the cider is made to extremely high standards using time honoured methods.
Our Beers
Hobsons Award Winning Beers
Hobsons award winning beers - all unique in flavour and crafted with traditional brewing techniques using the finest locally sourced hops and barley are based Shropshire.
Many of their beers have won regional and national awards including the coveted CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain in 2007 with Mild. They continually strive to create fresh and exciting taste sensations and is one of the reasons why they have been selected as a supplier.
Wye Valley Brewery
Wye Valley Brewery is a family-run business dedicated to brewing the best cask-conditioned beer possible. They supply us with a full range but our favorites are 'Butty Bach' and is Welsh for 'little friend'. This full-bodied, smooth and satisfying premium ale is burnished gold in colour, and certainly has made a few friends in its time, and HPA is a truly delightful pale ale. It's smooth on the palate and boasts a citrus hop aroma leading to a balanced bitter finish.
