2012

We have now started to support "The little Princess Trust" as our primary Charity and we raised over £5000 during the christmas period as a result of proceeds from Santa's Grotto and all your kind donations

Sponsorship

we will be looking at our local sponsorship of sports sides this year, so if you are a member of a local amateur side then please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to support you.

2011

Charities

We understand how hard local charities work and we feel its important to get behind them and help raise awareness of the great causes they provide help for.

Noah’s Ark Trust

St Peters Garden Centre is proud to support this local charity, and we have raised thousands of pounds in 2010 and will continue to do so in 2011. Mr Tony Blake (Owner) takes a personal interest in this charity and regularly pushes himself to do more and more energy sapping events. Only recently he climbed Mt Ararat in Turkey which is over 5000 meters high. We also donate all of the proceeds from the Santa’s Grotto to the charity.

Animal Charities

The Owl Sanctuary, and Dogs Trust are just a few who are regularly based at the centre and we would like to say a big thank you to all our customers who have supported these animal charities over the years.

Support Local Farmers & Producers

We host a farmers market on the 4th SAT of every month 9.30am-2pm. 2011 dates so far are 28th May, 25th June, 23rd July, 27th August, 24th September. We also use where possible local suppliers and producers, and over 95% of our products we sell and use via the Coffee shop and Deli are local produced and supplied.

Sponsorship

We provide sponsorship for many local clubs, including Upton mini rugby, and Worcester Male Voice Choir.

Young People

We are working with local collages to provide work experience for young people who are interested in the horticulture industry.

Schools

We are working with local schools in helping them to teach young children about plants, flowers and vegetables. Cherry Orchard First School in Pershore was one example of where we provided the plants for their new sensory garden. We will also help to maintain the garden and in 2011 and will help to grow a new vegetable garden so the children can learn about the benefits of eating fresh vegetables.
